Keka Morelle is from Rio Grande do Sul, moved to São Paulo in 2001. During her 23 years of work, she worked in a total of 8 agencies, including F / Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi where she worked for 6 years, JWT, Fischer, FCB, Dm9DDB and now AlmapBBDO. This diversity of places gave Keka a big vision of work culture and which culture work brings the most creative result and which does not. Going through different creative and entrepreneurial approaches, these companies have been shaping Keka's way of seeing creative leadership.
Actually, creative management and future work are the subjects she’s been most interested in lately and her studies being dedicated to them nowadays.
Her background is art direction, she is passionate about visual storytelling. Keka likes to tell stories through art direction: color palettes, grids, photography, typography, costumes, shapes, illustrations, etc.
"My lens on the world has always been aesthetics and today I have been striving to broaden my concept of beauty, my vision on the subject. It is a continuous exercise of change of look, acceptance, redefinition of standards, questioning. Expanding this meaning has been one of my purposes and one of the contributions to brands, as a woman, as an art director and creative director. "
2005 won her first golden Award an Cannes Festival for Kleenex at JWT.
In 2006 she was part of the juri of Cannes Festival in the category outdoor while working in the Saatchi & Saatchi Fnzaca. She has more than 20 lions as creative, 8 are gold and one of film. She’s already won lions in several categories: film, print, outdoor, design, industry craft.
She’s also been invited to be part of other juris in international festivals besides Cannes: D&AD, NY festival, El Ojo, Young Guns. For ten years she has been chosen to be part of the Festival do Clube de Criação de São Paulo. She was president of the promo jury in 2012 and this year will preside over the art direction and illustration craft jury.
She has already been invited to give art direction classes to the main creativity schools in Brazil such as Escola Cuca, Perestroika, and recently Miami Ad School.
Frequently invited to talks about art direction and fashion at the Festival do Clube de Criação de São Paulo, recently participated in the 3rd edition of the Desvendando Brand Content event. Next november will give a speeach at Lux Awards in Quito, Equador.
She has already taken leadership courses such as Berlin School intensive course, IDEO Leading for creativity, Immersion in Silicon Valley where she took classes with Stanford and Barkley professors on technology and the future of work. She participated of Friends of Tomorrow, a course about future work, with futurist Thiago Matos.
She often participates in diversity projects such as: Ladies, Wine and Design and the More Girls Project.
Graduated in advertising at Puc/ Porto Alegre. Post Graduate in Fashion at Santa Marcelina in São Paulo.
She was creative director at Dm9DDB for 4 years, where she led a team of 25 people directly. In 2015 she started work at AlmapBBDO as art director. At AlmapBBDO she created the Global Havaianas campaign: Made of Brazilian Summer. Elected one of the top 10 campaigns of 2017 by Meio & Mensagem. One of the most awarded campaigns of 2017 according to the Gunn Report. Applied in more than 20 countries, translated into more than 7 languages.
In June 2017, she was promoted to creative director at AlmapBBDO. She leads a team of more than 50 people with her partner Marcelo Nogueira and more 3 creative directors. Keka and Marcelo Nogueira lead the creative work for the follow products and brands: Antarctica, Lays, Ruffles, Quaker, HP, as well as collaborating with projects for Volkswagen, O Boticário and Havaianas.
And Keka has just been chosen by the Prêmio Colunistas Brasil for Professional of the Year of 2017.
